Silicolgel is an oral gel containing colloidal silicic acid for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders and IBS symptoms. Taken 3 times a day, it helps to control symptoms such as stomach discomfort, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, flatulence, nausea, heartburn, reflux and vomiting. Its therapeutic effect is due to the large and reactive surface of colloidal silicic acid and its ability to act as an adsorbent.
