Gabina Health & Beauty (Pty) Ltd is a proprietary company, trading as a distributor of predominantly health & beauty products to the independent pharmacy as well as national retail sectors.

Gabina commenced trading in 2004 as a division of a pharmaceutical wholesaler where a need was identified to supply the independent pharmacy market with front shop lines that offered attractive margins to the pharmacist and differentiation to the pharmacy customer.

It soon became apparent that what had started out as a small initiative had grown significantly and the Gabina business unit warranted direct focus as a stand alone business with dedicated investment and operational involvement to realise its potential.

In October 2008, the Gabina business, stock and staff were transferred to a newly created legal entity and Gabina Health & Beauty (Pty) Ltd came into being.

The future for Gabina looks bright with dedicated management staff and shareholders with an active participation in the business and a desire on behalf of all for Gabina to become a leading distributor and agent within the two specific markets in which Gabina trades, namely independent pharmacy and national retail.
