Gabina Strategy and Business Model

Gabina Strategy

Gabina’s strategy is to seek out long term relationships with manufacturers or license holders of products with unique benefits to consumers, products that offer the target market appealing product/s with fair margins.

Gabina has a defined strategy for each of the market segments in which it trades, the two markets being the independent pharmacies and other independent traders nationwide as well as the recent addition of a national retail strategy.  Each market has a basket of products that Gabina sells in the specific market.  While there are instances where the products sold have mutual appeal, on the whole there is a specific basket of products for each market.

Gabina Business Model

The Gabina business model is to source local and international products that offer unique features and benefits to consumers.  Gabina negotiates and secures the exclusive rights to distribute these products in specific regions and to specific customers or markets as well as warehouses the products in a world class distribution facility.  Sales are undertaken by Gabina’s own permanent employed national sales representatives and Gabina’s distribution partner delivers all orders to Gabina’s customers.

The unique benefit provided by the Gabina business model is that Gabina offers the only dedicated sales and distribution model available to over 1000 independent pharmacies as well as access to health stores, beauty stores and other independents.

In the retail environment, Gabina seeks to expand its footprint by calling on retailers with unique products, securing listings and driving sales through the stores by supporting products with public relations, marketing and advertising and on shelf merchandising and in store promotion.
